All she said was shes happy that they're speaking Chinese, and she's not wrong about it?? Also i dont understand what you mean by getting named by their independent cultures and languages, because you don't have to be from mainland China to speak the Chinese language. Many other countries also speak chinese. eg singapore, malaysia. Please do your research before you try to educate other people :/ ​

He's actually just trying to mansplain things to you, and he's pretty much wrong LOL. Taiwanese is not even a language, the Chinese dialect we speak in Taiwan is called Taiwanese Hokkien (which is not in this video).

First of all, a simple google research will tell you that almost everybody speaks Mandarin, there are a lot of people that speak Hokkien and other Chinese dialects but it is not the main language spoken there. (wtf, cantonese is the main language in hong kong). And as a matter of fact, my Taiwanese grandma can even speak Japanese because Taiwan was colonised by Japan before. (I bet you didn't even know that). I do know the culture and history of my own roots, I really don't need someone like you to mansplain it to me, okay? Next time, don't bring up shit that is completely IRRELEVANT to the posts and comments made by other people and you won't be attacked. BECAUSE the OP literally only said "love to hear them in Chinese" and you started mansplaining to her, smh. Thank you for your time and I won't be replying.
