I'll still argue the kiss used for the final cut in the show is very pure and fitting, as this is a portrayal of two young people warming up to each other and forming a relationship. Slow and a bit awkward was perfect for the first kiss, in my point of view; especially when paired with the final piece of music. Just right. As for the behind the scenes, it is sad to see God wiping his lips again and again, but I currently don't think this was a directly unprofessional attitude and I'm not yet willing to call it that for a few reasons. He could be anxious from the setting (lots of people filming around him, watching him kiss another person) and he is a very new actor on top of that. I can't speak for his mindset, but I do feel like he was trying hard to make the scene happen. It could've just been the wet lips or the sensation of kissing itself. Not necessarily unprofessional, but a new experience that he should grow from if he was nervous. I will say, however, Bas is doing wonderfully. Knowing now that this was his first kiss ever makes me appreciate him even more, as that had to be nerve-wracking (but exciting nonetheless, as he says ^^). He did SO well and I anticipate his growth the most as an actor. I do think we'll see less awkwardness when season 2 finally makes it around. Judging from the onstage couple games they've been playing, God and Bas appear much more comfortable with each other than from the behind the scenes filmed BEFORE those games. Hoping so! I truly love this series, including all these boys, and want to see excellent results for them. The experience should be overall great!

Wow this was just too painful to watch. Awkward isn't enough to describe it.. Let's be honest god is a terrible actor but his looks make up for almost everything. If you're acting in a BL series you gotta learn to get comfortable with scenes like this and not act like the sky and the earth are falling on your head. People complain a lot. He have to wipe his mouth because it’s wet. It’s more unprofessional to take another shot with his mouth wet with saliva. You saw how he wipe his mouth but you never paid attention to his reaction. Don’t you see his satisfied reaction, eyes close with sweet smile on his lips after the first take. And he only wipe his mouth twice… didn’t you realize that the shots are the same, only came from different angles. Kissing someone in front of at least 10 people, while being filmed, and with someone who has the same gender as you, younger, and the two are not gay and probably never done this kind of series, so yes it's awkward for you, but for them as well. It's not the best kiss in a BL, but it's definitely not the worse, they did a good job for a first and the entire BL is really good. And the first kiss is always so so awkward in real life, I think in the drama the two caracters never kissed anyone before (That's what I thought), in this case they are awkward but we can relate to that.

See, as someone who's very into acting myself, I don't see God's reactions as unprofessional. First off, if you can't tell, God's lips basically go into Bas' mouth lol. Maybe he was just wiping the possible saliva. I dated someone who kissed in a similar way & if that happened, I wiped my lips too, neither of us thought anything of it. But as for the sighing, it looks more like nervousness & embarrassment. Not that he's embarrassed to kiss another man, but just that he has to do it so many times on camera. I sigh quite a bit when I'm nervous or embarrassed to calm my nerves so I see it as just something to try & put him back in a calm place to redo the scene.

Well, there's a lot of newbie BL actors who almost exchange saliva during their love/kissing scene but never I had seen them wiping their mouths in bts. But this one is just lip touching and there's no reason for him to wipe his mouth because its wet. Yes, I don't see him being disgusted but I do see him being sooo uncomfortable in this scene. came here after i watch the 2nd kisses from Ben and Earth from season 2.. thank god they change the actor..while Gxxod wipe his lips after kissing,,Ben hug wayo and smiling so wide to comfort him.. talked about “new actors” and first time kiss on screen which both couple had to experience.. at the end of the day its about your profrsionalism and your willingness to act these sort of BL drama. you should know what you signed up for..

Like you do realize that they are doing scenes over and over meaning they aren’t supposed to look like they kissed already. If you have to redo a scene over and over it’s not supposed to look like you did over and over but that you did it in real time. Also for people saying it’s awkward no sh*t it’s their first kiss What first kiss did you have that perfectly executed like you did 30 times with someone.
