Synopsis:
Jiao Jia Ren was saved by pediatrician Gu Li Feng as a child and followed in his footsteps as a young adult. Aware of her talent and potential, Gu Li Feng, now the director of the top children’s hospital in the city, bends the rules to take her in as a registrar. Surrounded by a group of elite specialists at her new workplace, Jiao Jia Ren is no longer the cream of the crop and works extra hard to make up for the gap in skill level.

If you are just starting this series and love medical drams, this is for you. If you expect and hope for a romantic drama, pass this one by. The first 28 or so episodes were just devoted to the illness of the day. Then it started to get better as the personalities came out more, still very weak on romance. You should also know that as the series progressed they muting got progressively longer and more frequent, seeming to time with the few romantic moments. The operating scenes were blurred out but still too graphic for the average person. They had a weird narration that had no real purpose and at the end of each episodes they felt the need to turn it into medical seminars, but at least we could skip over that.. One last thing, and I wonder if it was just me, but the introductory song seemed to have children also singing but the way it was put together sounded demonic. Overall, for me, it was a generous 3 out of 5 stars.

The Volume can heard on perhaps 2 or 3 episodes but the rest in the middle of the episode the volume disappears at least three times and stays for long periods of time off.
