An electric acoustic makes more sense, because she can plug it in. Easier to stream with, or record herself for learning purposes. Regular acoustic is very nice to have, but not priority, I would think.

Lighter string gauge too, which will help her as she builds back up finger strength and callus.

It depends on how much she's going to spend on it honestly. The pickups in really cheap acoustic electrics are fairly garbage. Unless she's going high end Taylor or Martin or something like (which I highly doubt) that it doesn't make any real difference because it'll all probably end up sounding better through the mic she already has anyway.

I got a strat, and two thicc acoustics. I prefer strat, cuz small and the SS strings

I have small hands for some reason too, despite being taller than an average male. I can't play the piano beyond one octave with one single hand. And I see pianists like Animenzz or Kyle Landry play keys about 1.5 to 2 octaves apart, I lose hope of being a performer level player.
