ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

I LIVE FOR THESE TWO. I love how the writer(s) didn't abandon their character traits and history as the story progressed. You still see their natural instinct to compete with each other and not back down from each other's challenge. You still see Pran being in order and compliance while Pat has his chaotic ways. I am absolutely living for Ohm's subtle sadness in this series. In his other BLs, he's so intense. It makes the subtlety here even more beautiful. Love! Love! Love!

NSH, beautiful said, and unfortunately so true ! In gaylife telling your parents is always the first hurdle to take ! I think having a child is the greatest responsability you can take, you should always support your child, otherwise you are not fit to be a parent ! It took me 5 years to tell my parents, I was lucky, they took it well, because they knew allready; they noticed I and my partner smoked out of the same packet...Evenso I still remember the lying during those first 5 years we lived together, pretending to be just buddies, only being able to be ourself when it was just the two of us, like these two !

The way Pat just started crying in the bus unintentionally after Pran held his hand was almost like him showing how overwhelmed he was to be Pran's safe space and to have Pran as his safe space, he felt heartbroken at what his dad did, he felt angry that all of what they went through could've easily been avoided and every other emotion he could feel at that moment...And not to mention Pran's character development, our baby deserved to heal..

I like how they (finally!) show us a sex-wise verse/switch couple in a healthy, communicative and mutually appreciative relationship full of caring reciprocity and emphathetic and logical compromises. Pat was topping since ep 8, this is Pran’s 1st time topping, hence his question: “Was I good?” This and lots of other trope-defying BBS stuff ventures into realities of actual gay relationships. Before in BLs it was mostly heteronormative narrative imposed on same-sex relationships. Now - a fujoshi/fudanshi fantasy crossing over into a more realistic queer representation in Thailand. Temporary and mutually agreed “break-up” (just for show, not real) to appease and reconcile the families and eliminate obstacles is just a voluntary way of losing 1 battle to ultimately win the entire war for their eternal love and being together with full acceptance from the most important people in their lives.

But saying Pan topped Pran since ep 8 is wrong because They were outed in ep 8 4/4 and Then after Korn visited their room made suggested gestures for which Pat and Pran said Not yet. I think they started their sexual life in honeymoon. No indication was given before.

@@pavanw their answer to Korn “not yet” (on that day) was just that - “not yet” on that day, Korn was about to interrupt Pat getting his reward (sex) from Pran after winning the rugby match, but they never made it as Korn came in😃. Director Aof confirmed that - just like in the novel “Behind the scene” - they started having sex right after officially becoming boyfriends. And two healthy non-asexual 19yo guys madly and passionately in love “rehearsing the play hard” every night in the same bed in Pran’s room for weeks or even months. Yeah, they were banging like rabbits🙃. Pran seemed exhausted from all the sex with Pat, he said “Pran, give me a break” when Pat was on top of him and about to claim his reward. Do you think Pat is the kind of character to be chaste and be ok with having blue-balls for months and months? And Pran is extremely sexual and kinky as is evidenced by ep12.

Everyone talking bout nanon, s amazing acting I think hats off to ohm fr portraying pat, s character. No one could have done better than the way he pulled this role off. Pat is that type of boyfie to bottle up his emotions and Cry secretly just to show his partner he's strong n here to comfort his partner. But inside, he's breaking louder than bombs. I'm watching this series fr 4th time already still can't stop myself from admiring them🥺

They are setting the bar higher every episode. I mean, Its like they are outdoing themselves every week, the actors, the storyline, the cinematography and the soundtrack, all are getting better and better every single episode. This is the perfect story and perfect relationship. Pat-Pran love story is the epitome of a Too good to be true Love Story. Their acting is always beyond on point, all aspect of bad buddy the series is freaking awsome, as in 10 out of 10 and no one can argue with that unless they fight me dead. This series is a Gem for GMMTv and i bet this Bad buddy the series wont be surpass by any series even after decades, atleast for me, unless NanOhm and Aof surprises us all with season 2 and outdo their performance in Season 1. Thank you all for showing us that healthiest relationship ever told to date. Thank you for making us smile and showing us how it felt to love and to be loved back, and when to give way and when to meet half way in a relationship!

I might be overthinking it but look at pran's eyes in 2:23. When pat is talking about running away and living where only two of them are present ,he knows it is impossible and he very well knows how painful situations would get the moment this trip ends ,but he doesn't wanna say that out loud because that will break Pat's heart. He stares at pat with love but somewhere in that love there is an immeasurable amount of pain present.

It was so golden when Pran has his head on Pat's shoulder in the bus just them trying to work out how they can protect the Love they have when it feels so daunting thinking about parents. I kind of relate to this so much and I'm proud of Pat and Pran holding on to each other.
