So he was married, and they had 4 children. He had a mistress on the side. The mistress gave birth but died I guess of complications. The father decided to give up his 4th child. Now this is what gets me.. How old was the 4th baby(child) to be replaced with the 5th child? Did he bring her straight from the orphanage and claimed her when he knew she was his lovers child? He missed her that 🎉much that he got rid of his wife child..And that he needed to keep a part of her close because she was their love child. Now also he could separate from one just to love the other. When did Rachel know about the truth. It showed here that he definitely had more trust in her than anybody in the family..
