This is very sad. He is always smiling but deep down inside he was crying. Even though he calls it physical discipline but that was obviously physical abuse. Unfortunately these topics are considered taboo and embarrassing to the family but it needs to be called what it is. His father probably abused the kids and his wife. There are many good leaders out there, but Teukie would be considered the best and strongest leader out of all . He faced such cruelty since young, and even after he became famous. He has been criticised way a lot, cried a lot and still staying strong . Even after his incident last year, he's still going on. Whenever I see his laughter, it just makes me feel hurt . Because he suffered a lot, the laughters made him seem as if he's trying to hide his emotions. Stay strong Teukie, you're ELF's best leader.

I suddenly remember that show '5000 questions' where leeteuk had to draw a tree so a psychologist could identify their characters. The person saw that leeteuk had a scar from his childhood, teuk got shock since he never talk about it before, and when he was asked what kind of trauma teuk only said "family". He didnt continue saying anything and just looked down. That time I was wondering why, but now I know :'(

This is even sadder to watch after what happened back in January. (If you don't know, Leeteuk's father and grandparents died in a murder-suicide. His dad killed his (Leeteuk's) grandparents then killed himself.) Still, it really shows Leeteuk's strong character that he was able to rise above this sort of life. Even after his father and grandparents passed B2ST's Doojoon tweeted, "The always smiling hyung greets us with a smile even today without fail. That makes my heart hurt more. With respect, I hope the deceased rest in peace." It defiantly shows his emotional strength that he still goes about with a smile. Same to his sister.

I always hide my emotions, only a few close friends know about my situation. ♥ It's just so amazing how he can always smile and laugh, even when crying - but it's understandable because I once, too, did the same. Confessing something that is so dear and vaulnerable is a pain but you smile and laugh because you don't understand, It's almost unbelievable. Somehow it was comforting. Poor Leetuk oppa, I feel bad for his misfortunate childhood but he's become a good person, and an important one to many others too. First of all, before I loved EXO...I constantly loved Super Junior. Actually I loved Leeteuk a lot. Yeah he is a not only a leader but also he was a great MC (I only remembered that he was a MC of I Can See Your Voice). And when I watched this....I didn't know he had a painful past of his family. Yeah, I have problems but I just wanted to stay strong. I can see him smiling but he was teared up and he cried. I just remembered that I saw the news last Jaunuary 2014 and I was shocked. Still, I love this angel so much that I wanna hold him and tell him to stay strong. I have my own few of my Super Junior collection and yet I always kept it in my collection (including a Leeteuk photocard that my mother's officemate gave it to me last 2011). Next time, I could love them...I adore him a lot. So, please be strong as always.

Watching Teukkie cry makes me cry too. I just want to reach out and hold him so much. To wipe away all the bad things in his past and protect him from anything else that would make him cry like this again. But without that, Teukkie wouldn't be the great leader he is today. Always waiting for him to return safe and sound from the army.

Leeteuk, I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand a little what it must have been like for you growing up. My parents have fought a lot and still do...It is not a pleasant thing. I just started listening to K-Pop last year but Super Junior is my favorite K-Pop band :) Trust God to help you through this difficult time, He is the best One to have on your side.
