《Legend of Da Yu'er》
The life story of Da Yu Er, an influential woman who oversaw three dynastic successions in the early Qing Dynasty. As a girl, Da Yu Er, the future Empress Dowager Xiao Zhuang, was a free-spirited princess roaming the Mongolian prairie and dreaming of marrying her love, Dorgon. Funny thing they mentioned Dorgon is younger than Huataiji but when compared they're about same aged.I can accept Duoduo as being younger but not accepting Dorgon as sometime he does look older than big brother,Huataiji.Still great show despite disliking bright & strong colours

Thanks a million for your hard work - for those who did the subtitle. This is what I miss about older Chinese historical dramas - great story. This series has actually a great cast and the production is also good. I encourage everyone to check out this drama. I've been scouring the internet for this kind since the 2020s has lost its sense of good storytelling. I can only count perhaps not even five that really captures my attention for dramas that were released since the 2020s. The only thing critique I have is the choice of the color palette. They could have chosen the cinema type - similar to The Story of Yanxi Palace. Otherwise big gratitude again.

Why is none of Abahai's son asking the female lead for her role in everything that eventually lead to the death of their mother, afterall it was her who provoked Dorgon to ring the bell.

It's precisely for protecting the future of their Dynasty, if Abahai succeed the coup then there will be chaos which won't make their Dynasty well and hollowed inside. If the female lead easily allows things to happen so it would kill more then just the Queen

可能看過莊妃密史，再用新的演員重拍，皇太是多爾兗嘅阿叔，年紀上應該大些，他們仲未入主中原，但已經像漢人，如果有遺召，一定用滿，蒙字體，他們在馬上練功，點識字呀？他們入主中原，所以聖旨都是用滿字，漢字，康熙皇帝登位，他就要滿漢一家，漢人都可以考科舉，他仲永不加稅，令老百姓可以安居落業！
