voice actress, 配音 a lot of Chinese dramas films use it, because it has a better effect. Most films have to re-record the audio, might as well get picky about the voice acting. They don't do it, when it's lower budget filming, or it's not necessary, because the original voice of the actors is good too. 玉楼春 and 双镜 uses all the original actors voices. I believe these dramas don't use 配音 because they have good recording of the original audio. Fantasy dramas are harder to record audio, so most dramas will just use another voice actor. Few actors are always decides to use their original voice, because their voice style is good or acting is good for that character. 李一桐(liyitong) and denglun are those actors that use their most of the time. side note, denglun's voice is almost used for every drama. probably because his voice style is attractive. haven't seen a single drama with a voice actor

Yes. This entire drama script is trying to break the general expectation and bias that it is always the female lead who is weak and the male lead will be doing all the fighting and pursuits. In this drama, it appears the author is trying to reverse the typical male and female roles. Normally, it would be the gentleman courting the lady and taking the active lead. But this drama intentionally reverse this. Here, XJ is the one mostly taking the active pursuit. She always innocently courts Sifeng, making him blush. Lol And she does the heavy fighting as well. It is fun and interesting to see a reverse of traditional roles :)
