Phew, I'm so glad Meiren's rival got no further than the lab hallway. Prof. dr. Zhuang even learned something from it: if you miss someone very much, there is a lot of love. And wow, even the scenes of both Prof. Zhuang and Meiren in which they don't say anything, but only think about the other, I am breathlessly watching. By the way, I think the writer of this screenplay is well aware that men in general (not always) are less able to articulate their feelings than women. I really really enjoy this love story. ❤❤

The last 4 eps will be worth the long wait and slow burn, everyone! (i am impatient when it comes to drama so i watched vip version without sub ㅠㅠ) but overall it's such a good drama that had lovely main couple with perfect chemistry, main leads portrayed their roles very well so focus on the good sides and maybe just lightheartedly skip some parts if necessary... i personaly think this drama is better to binge-watch bc in the middle, the production team kinda lost their direction and main focus which makes me skip more hehe... since i watched all i would just come back a few weeks later when all the eps are subbed and binge-watch it again ;)

So no interaction between him and Yu Meiren. it was almost like Zhuang Yu just a cameo where Yu Meiren was like the second lead instead supporting the love story of Jin Xi (The C.E.O.) and Li Tiantian (The Rural Girl). in this episode(EP. 23) Zhuang Yu came back to China to find Yu Meiren so his identity as Male Lead is restored., finally Yu Shuxin narated saying "It is just coincidental to get a car with this method, if you can't, just because you are not the male lead". Reminding us once again that Zhuang Yu is the Male Lead.

I also don't like the way the drama was written when he left. However as a woman who has been married 56 years I can tell you most men have a hard time dealing with their feelings. They are so often taught that men should not be emotional and heaven forbid they should cry. It is a sign of weakness to them. And part of their identity is their career and job so it is very important to them. And because of how they have been taught it is very hard for them to say goodbye in person because they will have feelings they have been told are weakness. At least in our culture in America thats how it is. Thankfully some of that is beginning to change and men are starting to learn they don't always have to be strong and stoic. So I do understand it from his perspective but agree he should have at least left a note or had a friend contact her and tell her he will call later to explain. And she just blocked him without giving him a chance to explain so they both handled it in a wrong way. But it's OK because from what folks are saying there will be a happy ending.
