I love the way he takes care of her, protects her and calms her down when she’s afraid. She’s starting to loosen up and slowly letting go of her anger towards him because of his actions. Plus, he’s so persistent and the one making the initiative to be with her when before he saw her as an annoyance and he was just focused on his work. He slowly realized after he left to go abroad for his research without telling her that he started to fall for for her because he couldn’t stop thinking about her and missing her. Despite the biggest goal and subsequent accomplishment of his life, all he could think about was her. I’m glad his old mentor’s widow gave him some clarity that he can still achieve his goals but he should never forget to neglect to live and love and told him a story about how his mentor won her heart and how romantic he was beneath the surface. I’m glad he realized that Meiren is a 💎, passionate, beautiful, a genius like him, coquettish but a little innocent (hides it well), caring, thoughtful, independent and not afraid to face challenges. I’m so happy that she’s letting him dote on her and help her with this dangerous mission. It will give him a chance to get closer and show her how much he loces her and that he will never take her for grantedagain because she is the most precious thing in the world to him.

Not sure what the director and writer were tinking when they wrote the story line for the secondary couple, there was FAR too much screen time about them, and so far it doesnt really relate to the main couple.. We tune in for the leading couple not this backwater seconday role OMG that was so funny, the cops, dont tip them off we are coming, and they have t hier sirens on
