Firstly , I liked that in this version there was full and complete revenge and justice for the villains (even the ones who just showed up in the second life). They really dealt with the “heart disease” issue (I’ve wondered about that and every other version just brushes it off). And that they immediately got their license and were together. And that the FL was smart and didn’t fall for any old or new plots. That’s what I liked. What disappointed me was actually their relationship. It was set up to be this grand romantic thing (airport 🤭). And then it kinda …fizzled. They didn’t get to spend much time together building their relationship. He was often called away. He delegated buying her first gift to someone else. They kept being interrupted during their private time. And heck! She always woke up alone, even after they finally got together! Honestly, I’m kinda surprised that he didn’t get a call while waiting for her dad to wake up, calling him away. As great as he seemed it kinda reminded me of those ones where the ML super loves the FL, but still has a side piece that she later finds out about and then she disappears, or fakes her death, or goes into cryo, or another dimension. So at the end, all I could think was- (tsk, tsk) Oh honey. 🤨 Better keep an eye on your man! To be fair, I’ve probably seen to many of that particular plot and I’m just reading too much into it! 😅
