Somi look mature with short hair. If she was in twice maybe it is not same like today. Maybe there are no like ooh ahh,TT,heart shaker and so on because all this song are all based on member personality. If she was added up maybe there is a new concept for twice. That why we cannot imagine how she sing twice song like today. It just not suit her well. For example like Very Very Very song if she wasn't in that song, well there is no iconic voice sang "nomu nomu nomu" since her voice was high pitched. Other example was Aoa ex member choa. Possibly JYP knew that if he would place Somi in Twice, she would only outshine them, not initially but eventually. Somi is improving quickly, it clearly shows on variety shows and music shows. This could also be a problem if he tries to debut Somi in a group, Somi is already known.

I honestly thought the same. Nayeon has the center aura in her, when they are just nine, and it makes the group looks balance (well that is the center role), but when Somi is mixed with them, Somi ignites power that even Nayeon's aura cannot beat. If Somi joined Twice, she will be the next Suzy, and the group will be named Somi and Friends again. JYP made a right decision. They accepted Somi to held their name and reputation in Produce 101, which made Somi more famous.
