This was such a BRILLIANT episode! I never tire of watching it, crying buckets every single time at the last 10 minutes when Cang Xuan figures it out. That healing of her leg part...with the OST and memories of his words asking for her leg to be broken, ouf, the deep regret and shame he felt....and the gentle, "Does it hurt?" .... barely any words exchanged but the eyes and the face show this revelation coming to the forefront... and then when he's sitting on the steps at the end, recounting all the things he did NOT do...my heart! 😭😭😭PS - did anyone notice Tu Shang Jin did not hesitate to protect Xiao Lu when he thought Cang Xuan meant to harm Xiao Lu when Cang Xuan knelt to heal the leg...like the guy actually cut the hand of a prince, while being a guest at the palace. Way to go, Tu Shang Jin... 😍

I gotta say Yangzi is an excellent actress. She did a fantastic job in Ashes of Love too. Even though I didn't particularly like her character in Ashes of Love because she was a bit of a bimbo for way too long in Ashes of Love, this drama series we are watching showed the versatility of her acting skills. I love Xiao Liu's character here... an independent fighter yet kind-hearted and doesn't feel sorry for herself despite her misfortunes.

If she actually talked to him and made him realize that his kindness was misplaced, she (and he) would not have suffered the 70 years in lovesickness. Many fans do not realize that Xiaoyao is also a flawed character herself, she does not trust people easily due to the hardships she endured while growing up.

Yang Zi's acting is off the scale of spectacular. All the male lead characters are awesome. Her brother/cousin will never be able to payback all the things she has done for him because it started in childhood doing things for him. She's saved his life twice in the future she will save him again. He uses her as well, when he was younger he was only thinking of himself not really caring enough about her to check on her nor try & find her. He's not a good brother.

看起来好像相柳武力值最高最man，实际上是最傻。傻守一个承诺一直打仗，而实际上真正的王位继承者都在勾心斗角政治斗争，甚至也没有什么百姓可以庇护，还是逆时代潮流，他其实是个孤儿，硬是为自己塑造了一个莫须有的使命，其实一定程度上还是追求社会认可度的。璟其实是最聪明的，他生下来就有家族使命，他明白家族使命不是非自己不可，或者说他也已经为家族尽过力了，享受过那种成就感且觉得没啥意思。而且情商比较高，他的爱意都明说，还说很多遍以确保小夭收到，也没有什么精神内耗。小夭也是有使命，并且拒绝执行使命，救一个个的人，他会救，到底权力如何归属，其实并不关心。我觉得家庭背景和精神境界可能还是小夭和璟比较接近。
