I want to give my take on this series and try to explain it the best way that I can. Jom went over the bridge and saw older Yai in the water. Older Yai is a spirit. Older Yai told him that his heart belongs to Jom when he puts the ring on his finger and told him he was reminding him of that. Jom starts to disappear because his body in the future is dying (he had a pulse in the ambulance). When Jom wakes up towards the end in the bed he's in Yai house and hugs him. He's dead and a spirit now.That's why his uncle couldn't see him. Also he was a spirit in the family portrait. I think their spirits are connected and flowing through time destined to meet each other.

Jom nearly died, a short while after his heart was broken by a man he loved. However, nearing his death the universe took pitty on him and he is given a vision of a man saving him and he is then transported back in time, met the man he saw in his vision and found the love he desired with a man who existed long before his time. It seems through a form of supernatural intervention on behalf of Jom to allow him to experience true love. Then, when he met the man he saw in his vision, they fell in love. I think the story is showing that true love never dies. So, to keep their love alive, it appears that the supernatural forces are working in favour of Khun Yai and Jom via reincarnation. Taking them both through different times in the past to enable them to keep building on their love. The strength of their love is strong and irreplaceable. However, they are both from different time zones. So, for them to remain with each other in the physical form and not just in memory, they have to be reincarnated so their story will carry on. However, one of them must remember the other. Otherwise, the story won't continue. Their love is so sincere and deep for each other that it will continue through the new beginnings allowed them by the universe. This series ending is known as a cliffhanger, meaning it is the beginning to the continuation of their love story. So, there should be another season to come. I felt the supernatural whilst I watched these BL episodes. I couldn't understand it at first, but then when it got to the part where Jom told Yai that he's from the future, it just began to make sense to me. It's almost as if the universe took pity on them because it knew what their ending would've been if they don't meet eachother, so the universe broke it's own laws of nature and brought these two loving souls together. Both of whom were struggling in their own individual lives before they finally met eachother across time and found the true love that would change the projection of their futures. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. But, after watching these compilations of these episodes, I believe my understanding of their story is correct. When you are born of the spirit, you learn to understand the ways of the spirit and the direction of Khun and Jom story.

The series left me both with satisfaction and sadness. Satisfaction because the plot in itself is unique and well made - actors are the right fit for the role - the set was beliveable to be in the 1920s; Sadness because though there will be reincarnation based on the last scene, Jom might fall in love with another version of Yai but it will be never be the same as the first Yai he fell in love with while Yai on the otherhand had to live with the thought of Jom never returning and dying with that love. All in all, I commend the writer for sticking to the original concept of time travel and the impossibility of them both ending up together in the same time. I think though my heart ache with the ending (not with the after credits), if Jom had stayed in 1920 what I felt and experienced for this masterpiece will not be the same - Jom still had a family and a life he is supposed to live in 2023 and that's something which will not just disappear or change. I would hope for a new season but if there is none, I am still thankful for the journey. More BL with the same concept or with a unqiue plot, please.

I think Jom was actually waking up from a coma in present day and that’s why he started disappearing in the past. I think their souls are yearning for each other so much that they’re traveling back and forth in time to be together. It’ll be interesting to see how the story develops in season 2. Hopefully, they’ll end up together in the present. Everything about this series was a masterpiece; acting, cinematography, story, music, and most importantly the chemistry.

This the BEST BL series but YYTS Entertainment failed to capitalize on marketing and the awards received by the series. I fell in love with the nvel way before it was even planned or announced to be a series, which, after I’ve read it the first time, I really hoped soon it would be brought into a series. There’s lots of details in the novel that are worth mentioning and showing in real life series. This again is definitely one of the best novels that ANY entertainment company should invest in.

A couple of observations. 1stly the scene where K Yai appears at the house was probably filmed early as Bright seems not as invested in Jom as seen by the gap in his embrace, like we saw during the series. He also states: actually he didn't leave the house, so is he an apparition? 2ndly when you see Jom go further back in time, this is probably after the apparition as he is wearing the same clothes and will probably be the main story part of the next chapter. Episode 13 teaser may be the finale of the next chapter after Jom returns from the warrior era.

The Yai we met in 2023 is a reincarnation. He is the adopted son of the daughter of Khun Lek named Uaem Duaen. He is still a direct descendant of Khun Lek because he is the son of Lek's eldest daughter before he was adopted by the youngest daughter. Uaem Duaen is Khun Yai's favorite niece so he gave all of his wealth to her & in exchange, she'll keep the little & find Jom for him. That's the reason why Jom was chosen to renovate the house. Kanthorn is a reincarnation who has the memory of Khun Yai & Commander Yai. Kanthorn regained the memory after Jom returned from traveling due to the promise Jom & Commander Yai did to never forget each other again. The thing with Kanthorn, he looks quite cold in the outside, he's mature and older than Jom too so the personality itself maybe had an impact plus, he just started remembering his past life when he found Jom again.
