We're not sure of the timeline of when Apo ordained that coincided with this live. But, basically in Thailand, you can ordain for at least one season (three months) and this means you have to shave your hair and eyebrows, wearing the yellow/orange robe. This can be done as many times as the person wants in their lifetime. So you'll see some boy do it once when they're young, and then when they turn 25, or at any point in their life they feel like they want to. On the other hand, there are other spiritual practice (of various lengths) where you just wear white and meditate, without shaving your hair. Overall, there are many religious practices you could do in Thailand with their own set or rules, and we're not sure which one Apo did during this time, and if the hat has anything to do with it. Or if Mile was just teasing. Hope this helps!
