This is a great “Reborn/Revenge-plot”-story with really good actors and an interesting storyline. I loved this smart/capable/ruthless FL (as always with Meng Na) and supporting/loving/powerful ML. I prefer revenge-stories that have a strong FL who doesn’t rely on ML in everything she does, and this is one of them. Well, I was highly entertained and enjoyed this one very much. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! After marrying the man (2ML) she loves, the wealthy Gu family cut ties with FL, thereby also the money flow. Since her husband only married her for money and was already having a cooperation with the Gu family secretary (2FL), the two of them killed FL to cash in on her life insurance. FL dies in the fire, regretting trusting the wrong man and severing ties with those who actually love her. The last thing she sees is the head of the Gu family (ML), her non-biological adopted brother who loves her deeply, coming to her rescue, but sadly too late. She dies in his arms as the roof collapses on them both. Luckily, FL is reborn on the day she and 2ML eloped, starting her path down the wrong road. This time around, she decides to change everything, starting by not eloping. Instead she kisses ML, but given their previous strained relationship and her actions, he has a hard time trusting her change of heart. A trust that is tested time and time again, as FL starts her plans for revenge. Well, this has a happy ending.

Meng Na never disappoints in taking ru.bbish scripts. Kai. Her character always claims to be smart, yet will be under swept by the villains. She can never protect herself. If not tor.tured by ML and goes back to him, then she's by villains and will act on her own, thereby making ML look fo.olish, yet he will always come to her rescue. My tired is tired on her behalf. The set ups, sl.aps, she receives and runs in circles even when with evidence, kai. Pass please.

ikr. She clearly has the advantage but didn't really do it in such a way that is satisfying or can defeat the villains by herself but need the ML to help her. All she is good at is to cause misunderstanding between them by just saying it's not like that, it's not how it is. Then tell him HOW IT IS. It's not that hard.
