At 17, Wen Heng who was an adopted child, was finally found by her biological parents and brought back to the family home in Beijing. There, she tries to adjust to her new life with her new family but problems occur when her adopted sister felt threatened by her presence and started throwing tantrums. In an effort to keep the peace in the family, Wen Heng was asked to move into a family friend's house next door.
There, Wen Heng meets Yan Xi and the two of them slowly start to grow closer as they live together and go to school together. But this happy life didn't last long when Yan Xi has to return to America to be with his sick mother.

This drama just appeared when I saw Ding, I said Ill watch it, I paused the other drama am currently watching, although I reviewed first your comments. True , a bit sad, am teary eyed especially when they were in the sea telling what to do . Ding is really really a versatile actor. He is a great actor at that young age...Thank you for giving us a beautiful drama...The ending waaa viewers did not expect it ...its a surprise....the cute dog is already big ....Big big thanks to the scriptwriter, she /he turned sorrow to joy , just hope that his diagnosis is wrong hahaha...and lived happily ever after, Very nice very nice drama ...it should be promoted well ...

Whatever that may be, we ought to be thankful when we are given a second chance to get hold of happiness once more though time may be little... Honestly, could this get any more depressing? SPOILERS: First, he doesn't give her the right to choose. Instead he just disappears and suffers alone - when it's obvious that he would have gotten better sooner if she'd been with him since thoughts of her kept him going. And then the ending was unrealistic and sucked. If you want to kill your lead off, try something more realistic for a young person like ALS or leukemia. Nobody has this kind of bad luck. He basically goes insane and then gets a death sentence. So unrealistic that a guy would be this cursed. I don't recommend this at all unless you like sad endings, which I don't.

First of all, this is not love. The male lead treats his girlfriend very badly, selfishly making all the decisions about their future without ever consulting her once. He keeps making excuses about wanting her to be happy, yet everything he does puts her through hell, because he leaves her and won't explain, then shows up and continues to make excuses. He's mentally ill, not romantic.

Don''t really agree with you. He left her because of his parents problems, then witnessed an event that was out of his control that no child should witness. I don't think he would have had a lot of options or choices himself being in another country and the condition he was diagnosed with. I definitely did not get that vibe.

​​@@jacqui-k3j yes fate did them really dirty... it was not entirely the guy's fault he didn't willingly put himself into that situation he's the victim too, I understand where he comes from when he can't even take care of himself he definitely didn't want to bring her down with him... Just put yourself in his shoes n often the thing that people fear the most is hurting the ones they have loved all their life and his guilt of failing to protect them or to be there for them when they needed you the most--- i swear it's not easy to live with that regret for life.....
