It is valid, but that punch and him telling Lune that’s why he didn’t have friends was not. Of course he was angry and felt betrayed so of course he is going to say and do things out of anger like punch Lune. Lune may have lied to White, but he always had feelings for Star. He probably didn’t even think he had a chance with her. But I get White, he probably was hurt over the fact Lune kept this a secret from him not that he was dating the girl he liked. White probably would’ve been hurt if Lune would of told him he liked Star, but he would’ve healed eventually.

And when he finally tried, White said he didn't want to know about Star dating anymore, and then he was stopped by Ivy, because it would distract him from their art project. Lune wanted to tell White, and went against his instinct for Star, only to be punched and made out to be the villain in all this. And neither Ivy, nor Star, actually did anything to help him. I feel for both White and Lune in this.

I’m with White on this one. His entire friend group has been lying to him for an entire semester, to “protect” him and of course his emotions are going to be out of control by finding out this way. Lune and Ivy had multiple chances to tell him and in the end he even specifically asked Ivy if something was going on and she again chose to lie to him. I truly don’t know what exactly they were trying to protect him from, he would’ve been hurt either way but this way he now questions his trust in all his friends…

Everyone's so angry with Lune, when most of this is Star's fault. Yeah, he lied about liking Star, when he thought Star could never like him back, and had no intention of pursuing her. And yeah, that must hurt White a lot. But can we not forget that Star's the one who kept Lune from being honest about it all. She didn't allow Lune to tell White. She didn't allow Lune to tell Ivy. She didn't allow Lune to tell anyone. Because she was afraid it would hurt people's feelings. But in the end, he's taking the fall for it, never mentioning that he did want to tell people. And that it was Star who stopped him. Even when he did try to tell White, he was stopped from doing so.

It is obviously Lune couldn't tell White the truth bc the last time everyone find out he dated with Sera, he got bullied, and the thing worse than normal people can imagine, so his instinct always avoiding the same situation, I kind get why Phuwin talking in the interview, that people included him didn't like Lune's behavior, but couldn't deny that people maybe will do the same thing like Lune, but I'm curious about the character Star, she is the one be friend or knowing White longer and closer, will she feel more guilty about this?
