Heavy spoiler: This is so idiotic, so they've turned true yans former friend, who he tries to reconile with into an outright traitor of VR company who in full view of the company(on inheritance grounds that are under 100% surveillance because they're literally rented out training spots) tries to assassinate multiple 1st and 2nd tier talents. What an utterly stupid way to change things if you wanted to continue the series. Not only is one of MC main Trump cards now removed from the novel, you've also removed character depth from True Yan and made Origin ancestor look like a schmuck. Good job. I guess considering our spirit reader MC using mostly melee should've been an indication of how poorly adapted this novel would be.
