A lot of people are saying that Haechan doesn't do skinship with Taeyong like he does to other hyungs. But I think it's because of Taeyong. I have never seen Taeyong do skinship more than a casual hugging. And I noticed that Taeyong gets so awkward when someone does aegyo to him. He kinda gets uncomfortable and doesn't know what to do. And our Haechan likes to tease the members. For example, Mark, Winwin and other dream members show a strong reaction and express their "anger" (playfully) which Haechan finds entertaining. Johnny and Taeil just find him cute, allowing us to see his cute little choco ball side. But when it comes to Taeyong, it's not the reaction that Haechan "wants" or "expects". Taeyong expresses his affection with words rather than body. If you guys watch the videos of Jungwoo doing aegyo to Taeyong, you will understand me more. Dude gets flustered and turn into a tomato from embarassment lol. If you guys remember the legendary Sm Rookies video where Haechan imitates Taeyong, you can see that taeyong doesn't express his anger to Haechan and just sit there awkwardly with a smile on his face. Some people just doesn't have the same humor code. I think that's why Haechan stopped teasing Taeyong and just respects him as the leader.

haechan is taeyong’s game mate and shopping mate! they have very similar interests. i agree with u that they respect each other a lot. both of them are the two of the most hardworking members in nct and support each other in many ways. i really love this duo. i think haechan also knows that taeyong carries a lot of thoughts about nct, that’s probably why he doesn’t bother and annoy him as much as he does other members. haechan expresses his love for taeyong differently and he’s mature in that sense. maybe the reason why we don’t see taeyong babying haechan as much as mark bc haechan IS mature. it doesn’t show because hyuck is super chaotic lol but johnny and others have recognised this. haechan has changed a lot! haechan is also a very independent person. he’s very good at chores and can probably live by himself! lol i also think haechan values independence and i think taeyong supports haechan by recognising his effort and giving him more creative freedom. ty is a perfectionist but he also looks up to haechan’s creativity. we can see this in their performances. he is always first (along with mark) to appreciate haechan’s style and moves!! it’s really cutee!

Idk about you guys but I watched the new video on nct daily and when I watched Doyoung pour out his emotions about mark, made me think that we don’t actually see every pairing. I actually thought about it and searched if there was any mark and Doyoung and surprisingly not a lot. But it made me think that maybe behind cameras there’s a lot of like good close bonds that we just don’t normally see on camera. Cause sometimes I kinda wished I would see more of this ship like taeyong and Haechan. But honestly I feel like it’s more intimate when it’s like a relationship you don’t see through physical expression like hugging and all that soft stuff. If you are saying Jaehyun doesnt like cuddles, he do mostly to Winwin, Jungwoo and Haechan, if you are saying others cuddling Jaehyun they do too, mostly the younger (dream) members do and Jaehyun receives it well. Omg why am i crying?! Haechan may be naughty & mischievous but deep inside he is very thoughtful & caring. Taeyong is always a very caring hyung to all the members no wonder they all gravitate to him and take good care of him too. TBH i am falling in love with the whole OT23 relationship of this group.
