500 dollars per person (probably in a month) is so cheap for Riki. I heard that YG Ent. spends a 100.000 dollars per a A-class trainee in a year (including living in the dorm+transportation+ kitchen costs, too of course) Riki worked with idols in SM so I’m sure that his salary as a choreographer and back dancer was a good amount. Maybe he didn’t say the real price for his classes. 🤣

I know this is an old comment but gonna write in here in case someone sees it in the future. They did mention that he's worked with international singers before, but as this is still during the Korean ban in China (no speaking Korean on tv, no Koreans showing up on tv though Koreans with another passport e.g. Jessica from SNSD can still appear). So it might be not so much that he didn't mention it because he is so humble (though I do think he is) but also that he wasn't allowed to mention it.

Riki's dancing class fee is not cheap at all. Tencent really hits a jackpot with Riki when they have a world class choreographer & dancer to teach the contestans FOR FREE! And yet they don't treat him right in this show!

I guess not all people knew about it but Rikimaru is a choreographer of BoA, Key, Taemin, SHINee in general and also Red Velvet, Kpop groups and soloists from one of the big 3 agencies, SM Entertainment.

In the world of dancing, choreographing for a kpop group is not the AS big as fans make it seem. Don’t get me wrong, it’s huge to be choreographing for big names, but and Rikimaru is insanely talented, I just wish people would stop using Kpop as the standard to judge how good something is.
