She’s blaming him for making her wear the stockings...did I miss something? 🤔It wasn’t the WEARING of the stockings that caused the problem. It was the HIDING of the stockings that caused the problem. SHE hid them behind the sofa cushions instead of taking 3 steps back and putting them in her room, SHE heard her parents arguing about them and could have spoken up, and SHE could have told her Mom when she tried to stop her from leaving-the half-hearted, softly murmured confession as her Mom turns away doesn’t count...SMDH!

@@lovelydorrie yes but again the stockings are a fuse for a fight however whether hers or not it doesn't matter -> because both parents are obviously separated as u can see by the context of the episode, because the question wasn't, why are there stockings but why did u bring them here , her being a child she is not meant to understand the subtle undercurrents of the episode (her parents being on bad terms and basically separated), so she blames herself and him, which yes is selfish but its a selfishness that resulted from a psychological barrier or trauma of the idea that her parents are separating and she is clutching at straws, people do crazy things when there is too much mental pressure for them to handle , especially if they cannot reconcile 'their hand' in the matter but that's kind of the point of the episode -> emotional breakdown and resistance to change cause a social rift not only with her friends but also her family (just to note I'm not saying this episode is well deigned or the plot is well designed , just the subtle undercurrents of what they chose to go with)

For any situations, pointing someone’s faults it’s not blaming them it’s helping them to understand that their behavior was not appropriate so they can grow from it. So when she blamed her friend she was wrong. Does that mean she is bad person? Definitely no. Her reaction is understandable because of her emotional background but she was selfish in this particular moment. And she will understand later, that’s how life is :)

I am from Canada and I understand that the actress here, Ireine Song, grew up and was educated in Canada. Asides from Chinese Mandarin, she speaks English and French languages very well. Her First Epic Fantasy, Adventure Drama, "Ever Night" won the Best TV Drama Series in Canada-China International Film Festival. And this Drama Series is now translated into 25 different languages. We're glad that Ireine has another drama like this 'Romantic Drama" and she is with another young actor. Playing a different role will help her improved more of her acting skills and abilities. Actors and actresses should not limit themselves to one role . . . I had such a chuckle when she started to arm wrestle all I could think of is look how tiny she is my fingers could go right around her upper arm, I have noticed that the Asian people are really a lot smaller then here in Canada but, when he had a hard time beating her I laught so much, from what I've seen they are smaller in build but such strong people it has to be their diet they eat very little meat compared to us...lol we must look like Amazon women compared to them. Love this young woman's acting. She is just so cute too her leading man would count himself lucky, I've watched a few shows of hers and enjoyed them. Why could she not wear those stocking in school, where I am we do not have uniforms? Why did she not explain to the teacher it was a dare. Lol those stockings would not even have to stretch at all sh is so tiny and small. The name of the city and the year it says Los Angeles 2005, the city must be wrong or is there 2 Los Angeles?
