Fu Rong has to be the funniest character I have watched in a drama, he really makes me laugh and this series wouldn’t be the same without his humor 😅 I also love this kind of couple, mature..we don’t get to see this in dramas often. I think that Xiangzi is the definition of how a man should be, he treats Shen Li with so much warmth and care, also he does a lot of things for her to get better, I really think their kind of love is the perfect love ❤

I don't understand why he sometimes has his disguise and sometimes not. Also, what happened to him hearing her thoughts? He should know that she knows it's him.

He forgot to disguise himself, dejected, after coming back empty handed without any fish. After a while, he often forgot about it. ShenLi just pretend he was in disguise. As for the later scenes, perhaps he cast the spell so all fishermen and villagers can only see him in disguise, but ShenLi's heart and us the viewer see him as he is. I don't think he can hear her thoughts, just knowing her personality and how she will react.
