When Xing Zhi came out of the ruined abyss, I wailed😭and Mofang really broke my heart in the end, he was just brainwashed... I really liked this series, especially Xing Zhi's character. He had an actual personality which is rare in these types of shows. I will definitely add it to my yearly drama rewatch.

In whole episodes fenglai is more miserable than main couple he lose his beloved wife after long waiting moreover he didn't even have time to hug his daughter and called him and can't even hear "dad" word from his daughter. He sacrifice his whole life for three realms , his life is more miserable than xingzhi.

Fenglai does have a short and sad life. I think his great love is his wife. Anything else I think he had very little understanding. He grew quickly so I don’t think he understands what family love is. He sacrificed his life for Shenli because he heard his wife loves their daughter. When he rescued his daughter, in the novel, he simply say something like “on the behalf of your mother, live on”. The drama make it more dearing between father and daughter. In regards to two men, ML life before Shenli is very lonely. I still don’t know how truly old he is. Fenglai was sad but shorter misery. 1000 vs 10000

I think this is Shen Li's best acting so far. I could almost feel her intensity while defending his body from the Immortal Lord. Also, I was blown away by her smile when she saw the grapevine shed....didn't know she knew how to smile.

I've already rewatched this series 4times? 5times? Still, that first act makes my heart wrench. Those two really put their soul into that certain scene. And I've also watched the bts, it's amazing how they pull that one off, so that they can give us the best we can get.

Wow, there are adverts now! Glad I've already seen it all before the adverts started. This is one of the best scenes of the entire series. She’s absolutely so shattered at his death. She’s seriously unwilling to let him go even at the slightest provocation. She won’t even let go of his hand even when she’s exhausted. She seems to fear he’ll disappear if she lets go. Even at her Master’s arrival she still holds onto his hand even when she finally passes out. Hers and Xing Zhi’s love transcends everything.

EP38 is indeed very tragic having the conflict circumstances, but at the end the lead characters revelations of their feelings for each other finally happened. Very romantic indeed. You can just feel the warmth of that admiration from the scenes when their both together. "What is the use of life without love and love without you'... That kind of thing really...

It's slightly incorrect translation. If you watch from official channel (WeTV, Tencent and Mango) it translated, "cuckoo that spit blood while crying." And it's basically an idiom to its situation. An irony between laugh and cry. Or something like that. Chinese are full of idiom that often hard to understand 😅

Maybe those two women weren't the true love he was supposed to have met. Xing Zhi told him while he still had his godhead to look to find his true love and maybe that will help him. Since it looked like he walked away from the two women, maybe there's someone else and he finally realized it? 🤨🤔
