The drama tells the life of Xiao Yanyan, who was the most powerful woman of the Liao dynasty. In fact, the consort Yuxiao existed before Mingyi became the emperor, and they had a daughter, but that girl didn't have a princess title until she died. Once Mingyi had the empress Yanyan, he didn't have any other woman. He was honest and loyal to Yanyan till he passed away. IN THIS DRAMA, YuXiao's baby Yaoshinu, this boy was meant to be Yanyan and Mingyi's last son in real history. Unfortunately, he died early as a baby. WOW, Wuguli's family was entirely stupid. I didn't figure out why all her family memebers died out in the end (none of their plans succeeded, even once!), now I can see the reasons from this drama😂
