Maybe, but she never actually had him. It was all on her side. And reading someone's private correspondence, then ratting him out to his parents will never endear you to him. She needs to just suck it up and move on. You can't force another person to love you no matter how much you may want him to. These women in these dramas who think they can force someone to marry them just because that is what they want, are delusional. If in fact, he caved to his parents' and her wishes, it would be a totally miserable marriage with him growing to hate her more and more each day. I've dealt with unrequited love in my life, and yes, it was no fun. But I was mature enough to accept it and move on. I didn't resort to sneaky tactics trying to force the other person to acquiesce to my wishes.
