This is the 1st time I watched a C-drama where the FL is just simple and the ML just really loves her for who she is even without benefits. Unlike other FL in other C-dramas that is so smart, good at fighting or just really talented that can be a real support. But this one, the General just love this lady and that is all. 🥰

I really hate the middle part of this episode. Naxi telling Chu Yue her nonsense one-sided story and sowed doubt in Chu Yue’s heart. Chu Yue is not stupid, but the timing was off when she went to ask Xue Yao. She became insecure and tried to follow them, I understand her but she shouldn’t have. Seeing them fighting together solidified her insecurity. She even calling the ankle lock their “love token” my ass 🙄 Silly Chu Yue (Bless Xing Chen for being her logical voice) Luoji is cute though, his comment about princess being like Nan Nan lol
