Our sweet poor baby JIAHAO has been longing so many years for his ( 哥哥 Gēgē ) older cousin JIASHU to come back to him, and that has been really heartbreaking to watch. We barely now what JIASHU has been doing over the years, but the only relevant information to us is that he has never given up on his ( 弟弟 - Dìdì ) younger cousin all alone. Their first days together are not easy to deal with, with so many feelings and doubts in the way. With a huge mix of longings and regrets, due to JIASHU being forced to leave years before, and with JIAHAO unable to let go of his unmeasurable love for his ( 哥哥 Gēgē ) older cousin JIASHU, their making up process still needs some crucial shaking moments to wake them both up of their lethargy. The youngest is unable to convey his feelings into words, and can just embrace how JIASHU treats him now, as long as he can spend time around him... and the older is not ready yet to open up his loving arms to JIAHAO, afraid of the family wrath issues; of his evil biological father coming after him; and maybe even afraid of what his future should look like as well. With so many issues to consider at such a young age and all by himself we should all realize that JIASHU staying back in his hometown because of JIAHAO is already a huge first step. He could have left after settling his family documents, and go back to continue his studies, and yet he stayed... to look after his ( 弟弟 - Dìdì ) younger cousin JIAHAO. But we have the very last lines of the closing song "梅雨季- Méiyǔ jì = Rain Season" by BRYAN encouraging our sweet JIAHAO not to give up yet, when he says: 多想是还会有运气 Duō xiǎng shì hái huì yǒu yùnqì I wish I could be fortunate enough 浮夸的梦还可以。。。。。。继续。 Fúkuā de mèng hái kěyǐ... Jìxù for my greatest dream ... to come true. Really great acting in this Series by everyone, and specially by the young Chinese actor Boquan MA (as the younger cousin Jiahao HE). He has managed to move me into tears in all the six opening Episodes, and that is amazing. His deep melancholic ways of portraying JIAHAO are making this Series truly special to watch. I am really looking forward to the next daily Episodes. With just 16 Episodes of 30 minutes screening time I am sure we may remain longing for more to come after the end. Cheers…!
