Chen Kun’s acting style tends to be hit-or-miss with audiences, it’s just a preference thing. For Ni Ni, this was her first TV drama, she only did movies before this series. So I’m guessing some people aren’t a big fan of her acting for a long drama. Personally I liked the acting for both of them, but ultimately it’s just a preference thing.

Because the female lead is a turnoff. She is currently unaware of anything thus her actions lead to tonnes of problems. But even after knowing everything she causes more problems and many people die because of it. That's why no one is willing to watch this because of dumb female lead.
