Thank you very much for the very interesting and well analyzed explanation. I enjoyed the drama very much till he returned after 5 years. I think that the meeting of them after 5 years and his obsession and crazy love towards her was not realized well enough. A man who could make such revenge is surely not a normal man. Since the beginning his love has been so obsessive, possessive and selfish but I felt that his character became tone down after he came back from the northwest. I wanted to see him chasing after her madly and in a way violently like the original book as you have explained. He should hunt her and beg her to give him a chance at all the cost leaving any pride and dignity behind. That was the most interesting part of his character, I thought. But instead he came back like being an ascetic monk in the drama which was really a pity. Because a woman who lived like a monk for 5 years was her in the palace. To get her back to live again, he must has gone really crazy and shake her first. I really would like to read the original book but not available in English. It is a pity. Still this channel was very helpful and enjoyed very much. Thank you again.
