He is my second favorite character after Jiang Cheng in the story. Yi City arc deserve their own full story. Xue Yang, I always felt like he was hiding the heart of the child who was just seeking for candies with that smirk. If only he had met Xiao Xingchen earlier, might be his life would have turned better. Wang Haoxuan really understood his character and could empathize with him. The Untamed cast selection was really done well!

One of my favourite character of the series is Xue Yang and his actor is the only one I can thank for bringing the character to life flawlessly, I think he deserves an award for it, he was the first version of him I have known whilst first knowing and watching the untamed/MDZS and no one could have portrayed him not even close to as perfect as he has, also it’s great to be able to understand his character more than just fan opinions, yea he’s a little demon but he just a baby demon who only wanted to be loved, I would have helped him if I could’ve and given him as much candy as I could buy even just like a hug everyday 😢❤

He was soo damn fine as Xue Yang, the first time he appeared my breath caught because he was so devilishly handsome and gorgeous and his acting was just superb!! Actually in the novel I didn't get to really empathize with the character but the Drama made me fall in love with Xue Yang and his story in a way that's hard to describe and it's all thanks to Wang Haoxuan 🙏🏼😱❤️❤️❤️

Couldn't get through the whole thing. I unexpectedly grew attached to his character and this video is so damn painful to watch. I was out when it hit the four minute mark, I was tearing up a little bit already but as soon as we got to THAT part I had to stop the video. I will always love when actors understand and love their character so much that they can accurately tell us about their feelings and thoughts and can successfully portrait them. Wang Hao Xuan is incredible, rendered me speechless during the whole Yi city arc. Love him dearly! Thank you so much for making this and breaking my heart ♡

It says a lot for the actor to have skill in portraying such subtlety in the character. Of course the eyes and smile stand out, but when combined with the head movements and body stances, a full character is created. Beautifully done.

Idk what is he regretting... His performance was the best on the drama. He has to show a lot emotions: being evil, naughty, regretful, hurt. And he succeeded in his goal of showing another side of XY. He made me emphasize with the character as in the novel it was presentd so cold and evil and the manhua didn't show much of his emotions. But in the drama, WHX showed XY as a person, he did such a great work. I hope this young man get a lot t of success, he deserves it

I'm weird. He did a great job, successful made the audience emphatize with his character Xue Yang. What I can't feel is how cruel Xue Yang can be aside from a few moments which I still feel like not scary enough. However, he's right. The character itself can feel love do it's not like he's portraying a psychopath, it was a sociopath at the very least. Unlike psychopath, sociopath can feel love and they could love however they love in a twisted way. Just like how he thought he could make Xingchen rise from death and control him, that's his definition of loving Xingchen. It's not the same as normal love.

I already found Xue Yang really interesting since his first scenes and in episode 40 and 41 he finally became my all time favorite character, not only in The Untamed, but of all C-Dramas I've ever watched. I'm currently working on an fmv of him and his story and I'm very glad I found this video.
