My conclusion after watching 2 eps. It looks like the makers took into consideration all the negative comments from the 1st season and then made the 2nd, removing all the negative qualities. This is so much better than s1. The ml is not a psycho, manipulative, controlling freak. I mean yeah he still does as he pleases, but at least it's not as bad as the previous season.

But I think they took it a little far. As much as I hated him for his DEMENTED decision, I also apreciated that they had the guts to not make the ML Practically perfect like they always do in romance stuff. It makes sence he was Emotionally crippled with his child hood. Emotional scares are real, most people have at least a few by adulthood and they make people act crazy periodically. I LOVE how much he grew learned and changed from and for her. I liked that she stayed strong and held her ground whith a partner that was so strong and used to getting his way. I liked that she was not perfect either but she did have good reasons for getting mad and for putting her foot down. So many c-dramas take the easy way out and have the girl get unreasonably jelous for basically no reason because the guy can never actually do anything wrong, that drives me nuts.

Both Seasons have different way of reason as to why they're together, Season 1 Boss Ling made a proposal in exchange for a Bone Marrow Transplant which she needed since she had a Leukemia and the only person that Match as her Donor is Ling Yizhou, so they agreed to get married. In Season 2, they made a proposal which "Engagement" because they wanted to clear the issues and rumours made by the public eyes to ruin their careers / profession. By saving her career, Xia Li agrees to the engagement.
