After finding out he is from Okinawa Prefecture (same as my grandparents), I wanted to find as many English translated interviews of his as I could only to find a couple available. Hearing him talk about his origins and his feelings about his craft now really felt like I was understanding something deeper than the few other tv interviews I've seen of him.
