Unfortunately, no. Jonghyun died depressed, sad and disappointed in both his life and his career. And Taemin hadn't even noticed that he was in so much pain as he was too busy with his personal career as a soloist. I will never forget when Taemin won his first major award for his album and in his speech he practically mocked Jonghyun on live tv for winning an award before him. Had Taemin understood Jonghyun's fears he would not have compared his successes as a soloist to those of him, who was evidently in a deep crisis and did not need to be reminded that Taemin was much more loved and more supported than him by both SM and by Shawols.

​@@xyzop8415 This is such a crappy response. You are essentially in part putting some blame on Taemin for Jonghyun's decision which is so incredibly messed up. I have depression and I have best friends with depression who have suicidal ideations-I would never know what they were going through if they didn't tell me because they were so good at masking it. We each have our lives to live and you know, work, just like Taemin had work, but the only way we are able to help each other is if either of us reaches out. You can't "understand" what is going on with someone else like they are some math problem. You are making some very awful assumptions when you don't know these guys personally, none of us do. No one felt more pain to lose Jonghyun than the rest of SHINee and his close friends and family. Also, Jonghyun had moments he talked with Nine9 before his death and Nine9 mentioned that even though she talked to him and informed his family, nothing helped. At the end of the day it was his decision. We to just keep him in our memory, tell him he did well, and not drag the name of someone he obviously really cared about through the dirt for reasons outside their control like you're doing right now.

what Shinee deserves: - another own show - a drama with all 5 members in it - another win at MAMA & other main award shows (for the recognition) - another solid Japanese album & comeback - PROPPER PROMOTION! I'm sick of SM ignoring them when it comes to promotion. We don't need a Japan tour every year, we need more songs instead...t___t
