Yes u are 101% right and because of the mom little orange will suffer alot in the future if the trauma keeps on going, she will be even worse than her brother cause at least her brother has a family that loves but little orange will not have a single person to love if they keep with fighting and etc....I just don't get it why chen ting is like this, I mean her 1st husband divorced with her, her eldest daughter died, her son hates her, her daughter doesn't want to be like her(chen ting) and most importantly her husband died on the same day as her mother isn't it enough? And I can't just point out what she did as well because it's all in the past and she needs to move on and mainly if she wants the relationship with her son and her then she better go back from where she came, maybe the long distance will let them have a better relationship, because in the past ling xiao loved Jianjian and wanted to date her and that's all what he thought but now he wants to marry her, because of them being apart he (ling xiao) understood how much he loves jianjian and how to share his rest of his life with her and I think this will also help the mother and son to bond their relationship again

Leo 我80年代在大陆接受教育，所收到的教育非常客观和详细的说明了台湾对岸的实际情况，而且非常友好，是真心把台胞当同胞的。 其实这也是为什么以前那么多的大陆人有情怀去台湾看看，旅游的心结。真的是认为对岸是自己人，是一个分居的骨肉兄弟。 由于自己家也有上两辈的亲戚在老国民党，88年回大陆买好老家村子里墓地，90年底去世后由大伯父背骨灰回大陆安葬。印象中，台湾的亲戚朋友对大陆也非常友好，虽然嘴上骂着老共，但是见面、祭祖、回老家投资助学从来不含糊。对天发誓，这是亲身经历，所见所闻只有政治理念不同，但从没有怀疑是一个国家，没有怀疑大家都是是中国人。 最近这几十年，真的不知道是怎么了？ 大陆发展这么好，人民安居乐业，但是台湾侧敌意却越来越深，本来从不问政治的我，很多时候看到网上那些攻击大陆的言论而义愤填膺。 唉！ 中华民族真的不知道咋回事？ 怎么就不能团结一致，不能实现和解实现民族复兴呢？ 尤其现在看到台湾人已经不认为自己是中国人了，还到处抹黑大陆，真的是极其失望！ 可能我们这代年轻人，真的比祖辈们差多了！一声叹息啊！

As much as I want to empathize with Mingyue's mother, she should also call out her mother's wrongdoings-she has been so protective that it a boundary between suffocation and protection has crossed already. Her ambitions and her father's way of living should not be controlled by her mother too much, but there are times when she could also be there as their support system.
