This one of the less nutty stories concerning a divorced couple with kids. It’s unique in that it has an espionage angle. I’m okay about the FL getting back with the ML. He’s changed his attitude and he seems genuinely remorseful while seeking reconciliation. He’s certainly not so irredeemable.

The main difficulty I have with this otherwise good drama, is that there is no real explanation given as to why he insisted on divorcing her in the first place. Was it because he was in love with 2FL? In which case he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell for a second chance with me, or was it because he already suspected the 2FL was somehow involved with his parent's deaths and he chose to sacrifice his marriage to find the truth? In which case he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell for a second chance with me. Ooh, I repeat myself...🙃Also the FL doesn't sell it for me, with neither looks nor talent to carry the role. Seems very wooden. Especially when compared to the attractive Zhang Beixi who has both looks and talent. IMO 🙂

There's no clear explanation from the beginning WHY the ML chooses to ignore his pregnant wife and demands a divorce. He simply decides to divorce her, so the wife does the "noble" act and leaves him. THEN we learn that he suspects her as being the cause of his parents' death. So (of course) instead of asking her about it, he listens to everyone else and simply believes the lies. She has no idea what's going on. Another clueless, traumatized FL, later being pursued by a selfish scumbag. She takes him back. Sickening.
