Absolutely shameful treatment of those girls. Everything to guarantee medals, the exact opposite of what sports should be. Really really sad for Valieva since she obviously had nothing to do with any of it. Idiotic sacrifice of a wonderful athlete who deserved and still deserves so much better. Do better, world!

Akatieva is seen crying because she can’t complete a 3A repeatedly, and in November 2023 she was out of the season for a recurring stress fracture, for which she was recommended to not put weight on that foot for 3 MONTHS!!! That’s a serious injury. And yet you say Eteri makes champions…. 😂😂😂😂 Eteri make cripples!!! Ask Daria Usacheva

Ok let's not ignore that she had illegal substance in her tests. Sure it may not be your fault, tho she still has to deal with the consequences unfortunately. I still think she would of been the best without the illegal substance. It's a shame her legacy is tarnished.

Way out of line people. She was found accused of doping in the past Olympic Games so we should accept this and feel sorry for her, her coach and her teamsters( especially the one that was hysterical before receiving a bronze medal; an amazing achievement for any skater. However rules are rules, tanyaharding Nancy Kerrigan, Jamie sale and David Pelletier robbed of their gold medals for days until the head of the Olympic committee was notified by a senior referee that a judge came to her explaining what she had done to allow the Russian pair team who had mistakes in their program compared to the Canadian pair with a flawless performance. If u don't follow rules you accept the punishment. Life goes on. She's a great skater, but she knew what would happen when she put the banned substance in her body. She does not deserve to be placed on a pedestal. She's paying the punishment she deserves and in agreement with the entire Olympic committee as well as most of ice skating fans. Shame on you!!!😮😮😮😮😮

When Kamila participated in the Olympic Games all her tests were clean, she won that medal, those who complain are all those losers who now win medals because there are no Russian skaters
@lindamaes64548 ай бұрын
@@azuraguillen6153 It doesn't matter if she tested clean at the Olympic Games. She tested possitive at the Russian nationals so she wasn't suposed to even compete at the Olympic Games. If RUSADA didn't delayed the test sample, she would have been disqualified and taken her title away before the games started. Who would have been given the third spot? Adeliia was to young so it had to be one of the two Sofia's from Plushenko or Liza from Mishin. The FSFR only wanted skaters from their favorite coach.
@5KAT8 ай бұрын
Uh, shame on you, Kamila was only 15, was not deciding to take any meds herself, nor knew what they were, was living and training with all the elite skaters who had the same food, meds and training and yet the best skater in history was convieniently the only one who was supposedly was show to have these meds in her system AT the actual Olympics? She was completely set up and this goes down as the most unjust situation in Olympic and ISU history.
@lindamaes64548 ай бұрын
@@5KAT She tested clean at the Olympic Games but the sample was from the Russian nationals weeks before. I don't believe she knew that she had taken that medicine but the medical staff must have known. Shvetsky had previously been suspended for doping violations but is still the national figure skating team's doctor. Everything is about this case is strange, RUSADA forgot to label the sample as a priority, her grandfather not having a prescription for trimetazidine, Adeliia being to young to go to the Olympic Games if Kamila got disqualified before the olympic games and the only other canditates where not from the Tutberidze team. You can say its the ISU and the IOC but i think it was the FSFR who only wanted skaters from their favorite coach.

Beside the doping! Kamila made many mistakes in the Olympics performance she doesn’t have strong mentality like other, if she made no mistakes she could have chance to be in the podium in the end it’s her fault and mistakes that cost her the medals !

Kamila performed perfectly in the team tournament. As for fortitude, she found the strength to go on the ice at all at the age of 15 and for two years with incessant desire to perform and receive prizes with fierce competition in Russian figure skating. So you are oh so wrong.
@sabrinazhou11158 ай бұрын
Anyone that was subject to what Kamila went through won’t have a strong mentality, trust me. Getting death threats, negative press, her scandal was all through the medias. What did you expect her to do? Have a flawless performance like nothing happened? her whole career and reputation was on the verge of collapsing. She’s not a robot but still human, and making mistakes due to these factors was bound to happen.
