Mon Dieu ce que Je t'aime mais tellement Lara. J'ai un respect et une tendresse infini pour toi j'ai l'impression qu'on pourrait passer des soirées et des nuits entières à parler tellement je me retrouve dans ta façon de communiquer et de voir le monde ... On a vraiment besoin de personne rare comme toi sur cette planète. I have to say that I never heard of Marie Laberge before. Her work never reached this continent. I came here for Lara, which I adore but wow...Marie is a gift. I fell in love with her openness, humor, wit and wisdom. I didn’t think I’d find the time to watch all of this but now I wish it lasted more.

I adored you already Lara but the bout of illness you had to go through with your Mother, I cried when you said she knew you until the very end. We lost grandma at the age of 100 and had similar experiences. Bless your heart. Love u forever.

Oh, I love this! And I love Lara even more and more because of seeing what a grounded person she is and what a big heart she has! Thank you for the subtitles! I used to speak more French and am learning it again in preparation to travel to Quebec sometime in the future, but for now I'm not really clear on a lot of words and phrases. J'ai découvert Marie Laberge il y a plus de 20 ans. Un ami proche m'avait donné un exemplaire de son roman Gabrielle (1er volet du Goût du bonheur), et je l'ai DEVORE. Par la suite, j'en ai lu d'autres et toujours, je me disais tiens, cette femme-là, c'est une raconteuse. A lire absolument. Quant à Lara Fabian, quoi d'autre à dire que c'est une voix merveilleuse.

What a joy this was to witness. I am one of thirteen children and each one loved beyond measure. We all studied music and language as children. It was almost as natural as breathing. Some ( like me) to to the art of painting later on. Several still continue as musicians and all of us support one another in their life passions. I am so glad I grew up in a crazy household of noise and love. These ladies are two wonderful people and this is a very engaging meeting.

Wow, thank you very much for this great interview Gaby, the translation must have given a lot of work, they had so much to talk about. I found it incredibly interesting and not just the „I'm too loud" part😉. The conversation about her mother's illness and what it did to her family, and about Alzheimer in general, was very touching. Of course i love everything she said about Gabriel and i found the sentence „he's forty now, he's aged too" so funny☺️.

Thank you so much for uploading this video Gaby. I have no idea how you did it but I really appreciate being able to watch it and understand what they are saying. The part where they are speaking about the critics and their perspectives about the issue is really interesting to me because I'm aware that the public and the media have not always been kind to Lara. Unfortunately at times it's not easy being a public figure but I've come to realise that people who are intentionally cruel to others are not at peace with themselves. ❤

The issue has never lied within the public. The French media were those who were viciously cruel to Lara. Sure, a few French people criticized her for being too loud but most of the attacks came from the media. She’s always had a pretty big and loyal fanbase in France. Just wanted to clear that up 😊

Personnellement, j ai toujours été fier d aimer l artiste que vous êtes madame Lara Fabian car de plus votre talent de chanteuse, et d auteur, j aime l actrice qui est en vous quand vous interprètez vos chansons et je dirais même que je vous préféré presque avant car vous étiez vous même, innocente dans vos interprétations un peu désinvolte ce qui fesai tout le charme de lara, malheureusement les gens sont jaloux et de par cela moqueurs, j aime aussi la lara d aujourd'hui d ailleurs je viens vous voir à Marseille le 15 octobre, amicalement Christophe.

Lara et Marie L devraient écrire une chanson sur les hommes. Un défi pour Marie qui écrit seul. J'adore quand Lara fait des entrevues au Québec. Petite anecdote: je sais de quoi parle Lara lorsqu’elle parle de son papa face à la mort de sa femme et de sa maladie. J’ai vu mon père devenir le père de mon grand-père et de ma grand-mère lorsqu’elle a été diagnostiquée avec l’alzheimer et je n’avais jamais vu mon père de cette façon de ma vie.
