Problem with that is you need a net worth of hundreds of millions of dollars to maintain a yacht like this. Well you certainly don’t need to be worth that much, but your income has to be large enough to cover the maintenance, repair, and crew salaries, among other things such as the multiple six figures it’ll cost to fill the yacht with fuel, the cost of docking in a port large enough for your mega yacht, and most importantly and most overlooked, the cost of supplies and food to supplement a long journey or weeks/months aboard the vessel. I agree with you in what I’d do if I had something like this, I’d live at sea for the rest of my days, but when you say all you need is enough to live like this, that “enough” is an unfathomable shit ton of money lmao, maybe someday we’ll be billionaires my friend, we can only hope!

That's the base price, you also have to deposit probably around 150-200k with the captain. Returnable but it's 'splash cash', this covers any hire cars, excursions, impromptu helicopter transfers, the fuel used also etc etc.

1 thing I always wondered is how practical all that luxury is. For example, at 2:10 we see a bed with a whole bunch of pillows. Only need 1 or 2 to sleep... So you go to your bed, toss them all on the floor cause you're tired as fuck and have the maid sort that shit out in the morning?

Obviously spectacular in scale and maybe I'm just not used to the luxury thinking but when they get really big they almost seem like fortresses of loneliness. When you go extreme the risk of disappointment instead of triumph seems very real. I would pick something far more modest and joyful like a Princess Y85 or Sunseeker 95 or even 130. And if you really want some excellence, make a flying yacht. Not a fortress of mistakes.
