First we have to praise Hairu for being sensible in regards with brother’s choosing Yixiu as his fiancee’to be or bride- to be . His conviction about the plight of his love to Yixiu is honest and sincere. The Grandmother Lou’s understanding and respect whatever the outcomes, she will not meddle, if they love each other, so be it. SHENYUAN’S PROCLAIMING HIS LIKE & LOVE TO YINING was very INTENSE and ELECTRIFYING at the same time ♥️I have this thinking that he will kiss her ❤and then I come back to reality and it was fluke. My dirty mind in full gear. Their tandem is so warmhearted and loving. Duke Wei’s love to her legitimate daughter is boundless, as he wanted to cherish the moments with Yining, especially when the Marquis Lu Jiahue hinted that he likes to marry Yining and placate his supposed to be “proposal” by saying, “WHY IS IT CLOUDY NOW?”. That was bright and witty. This particular scene when Duke Wei was looking for a tutor for Yining from Mr. Sun, the scholar recommendation’s good teacher. Master Sun asked Duke Wei about criteria for a tutor for her daughter Yining. He chronologically stated clearly: “ 1. HE MUST BE LEARNED WITH RICH KNOWLEDGE. 2. HE MUST NOT TOO STRICK. 3. HE MUST BE WARM TEMPERED 4. HE MUST BE GOOD LOOKING”. Master Sun replied, “ YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SON-IN -LAW😂😂😂😂😂”. Mingzhu’s schemes by trapping Yining into going to the Marquis garden and a maid “ACCIDENTALLY had an accident with the drinks” Yining was told to go with the maid to have a change but instead the Marquis Lu Jiahue went there “confronted “ about their marriage plan. To my opinion the ending of the episode, left a sour note and being annoyed by being played by Mingzhu and the trap they set up with super obsessed Marquis. Thank you for sharing and an excellent job that the subbers are doing.

WARNING!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!! My head is spinning after today’s episode… 😵‍💫😂Like what has just happened?!? It all took such a fast pace. Both love confessions in one episode?!?!🤯 So much intensity! I was eating my dinner when Shen Yuan confessed to Yi Ning and almost choked on my food. I didn’t expect he could be that intense, sheesh! 🫣 He is always so calm and measured…clearly not when Yi Ning is involved, though 😜 I’m flabbergasted 🤯 It was so abrupt…out of nowhere. Tbh, he did hint a little bit about his feelings for her in previous episode, I guess he was determined this time to not get sidetracked by her, lol 😋 Is it just me or was it a bit like an ultimatum? Where is the romance???❤‍🔥 I get it that now they are not siblings anymore and he is acutely aware that there is a rival in the picture, but I thought he would be more understanding and patient. All the girl wants is her independence and freedom at least for a bit, yet it has been denied to her again. Am not even going to comment on the other guy, his underhanded, unscrupulous methods and unhealthy obsession with her - red flags - run for the hills, Yi Ning! From a viewer point of view - another great episode!!!🫶 I’m just left a bit shocked! Haha! In a good way, of course. Loving the good nature, humour and kindness of Lord Wei.

I don’t see his confession as an ultimatum. Unlike the creepy stalker guy, Shenyuan says he loves her but if she doesn’t like him in that way, he said he’ll still treat her as before (protective, supportive, sweet). I think he was being firm bc she kept on being skittish around him (like last couple of episodes) when he was about to say more, so he didn’t want to wait anymore. I thought his confession was so cute, firm but also understanding.
