adna no problem!!! me too actually, I can empathize and also see differences at the same time so it’s interesting. And hey, nice to meet you :) studying at London sounds amazing London is one of my favorite cities. I haven’t started clinics yet because I’m at my second year. Korea starts from 3rd year, and we do it at least 1 full yr to 1.5 yr!! How about London?

내멀스nammers thanks for replying and nice to meet you too xx just finishing my first year, currently in final exams! in london we can start medical school at 18, and it lasts for 5-6 years! we start clinical sessions at second year, pretty much just shadowing senior doctors, learning basic skills and then start practising our clinical skills in year 3/4! good luck to you, hope you do well in your exams! xx

Well this is interesting. I'm a med student in India, and all I'd say is there are some differences, but it's almost the same. It was nice getting some insight into the med schools of another country. Also, try making a video about the curriculum, how long is the course there and all, that would be fun! All the best!!! :)

I really want to study medicine and become a pediatrician or a medical doctor or a veterinarian. So my choices were to study in either of these country (if I get a scholarship) other from Jamaica because they don't give u alot of opportunities especially if u want to go overseas to work, you would have to re-study this is why most medicine field persons study overseas. And I want to find the most most affordable one so I don't burden my mom and dad with money because they done so much for me So these are the options: Canada is my first choice (if I get a scholarship) China Cuba Korea So can u guys tell me which one is more efficient because I'm not finding any research.

I'm a 3rd year medical student in the Philippines. We're supposed to start our bridging training for our internship year this week, but since the Corona outbreak is forcing us to stay in our homes, we as mere students without actual licenses have no choice but to just stay safe, answer online exams and read the online articles sent by our doctors. Watching these med school videos hurt me in a bittersweet way because this used to be our lives. Even the styles of our slides and the way we use our printed slides as coloring books. Even that girl who's completely snoozed during class no matter how hard she must have tried to listen to the professors. We should've been fighting against this pandemic war in the frontlines by now 😭❤ I dont know, man. I'm just nostalgic. We'll all get through this ❤.

I have a question. how many years does it take to become a doctor there in Korea? Here in Mexico it takes seven years including intership and social service.

Ho Zoki it takes 6! We call ‘doctor’ right after you graduate and earn the “MD” license. Then you do intern resident and so on😉
