It's funny that the admins of such servers do not know about the possibility to customize the admin so that you can ban by ip, thus you not only eliminate the violator, but also do not let him come in from other accounts through the native ip. Not all methods of HWID are the same. Ideally you ban by using the TPM to ban via HWID as you simply cannot spoof this and will need to buy an external TPM 2.0 chip to continue playing on that hardware. But this isn't even a workaround as competent ACs like Riot Vanguard flag when a devices TPM has been changed leading to a manual check and the cheater being rebanned.

Some of these servers are exceptionally scummy which makes it even better. Bubgames did a whole video on the Gaming Light server Admen hit that covered how they were charging players hundreds of dollars (real cash by the way) for custom jobs. As if that wasn't bad enough, if they deemed the player inactive they would remove the player's access to it without warning and put on a "custom job auction" where VIP players bid for them (again, with real cash). Hitting servers like that and disrupting their operations is genuinely doing everyone a favor.

yea these mods are just slapped together sometimes. its just expensive/cumbersome to get so many accounts to abuse those easy exploits. also servers have some anti cheating measures too, i think they monitor the console commands you put into the console but im not sure if thats client or server sided and the extent of these things. i mean, they could whitelist common cvars or blacklist ones used by cheaters
