I don't live in a large metropolitan where there would be a store nearby for me to test. Therefore, I usually just buy online before heading to Colorado. I already had an Arc'teryx Sabre when I arrived at Vail back in Feb of this year, but I tried this thing on and bought on sight. The fit was incredible. Best part was the stretch. Had never experienced anything like it, but with a merino base layer, a nano air vest and this thing, I will be pretty set for years. Worked well for me on the resort down to windy and 20° fahrenheit. Great stuff.

Great review, does this also have a ski pass pocket?

Hey nice review! Is it possible to tighten the jacket on the bottom of the jacket?

Great review. How would you rate this jacket for waterproof? Would you wear it on a storm day on the west coast?

Love the look of this jacket. Does the powder skirt get in the way when not in use? Can it clip away? Do you ever use it for everyday use and if so how does that function?

Have you checked out the Dakine Sender 3L Stretch jacket? If so, how would this compare? They seem fairly similar, but maybe the snowdrifter is a little more BC focused? Thanks.

Just picked one up at REI for $185 on sale ($449 retail). Patagonia quality is completely unmatched, so many brands pump out generic quality from China and slap their logo on it.

Would you recommend this over the Untracked kit? This one is drastically cheaper than the Untracked and from what it looks like, it is more stretchy than Untracted. I plan on doing backcountry/touring and resort riding with lift chair access. Ideally I want it warm enough where I wont freeze on the chair lift but then wont overheat on the uphill. Thanks!

What are your thoughts about its waterproofing? How does it hold up against wet weather? Thanks in advance
@Engearment3 ай бұрын
I have no issues with the waterproofing in our Colorado snow. It’s going into the third season of using it here. I have not used it in torrential PNW rain, but it has been great here in mountains. Hope that is helpful.

@@Engearment thank you for your response. Have you tried any other H2No 3L product in rain? Does it perform similar to Goretex 2L/3L in terms of waterproofing?
@Engearment3 ай бұрын
@@silvavjoao I have used many other H2No 3L as well as all the Gore-Tex and other brands. What I can advise is that the newer versions can wet out. Even the Gore-Tex. This is likely do to the newer PFAS free treatments for DWR. What I do, is just wash and retreat the clothing more often. Seems to work well. Hope that helps

Oh heck, I did say Fall 2022 in the into. Good thing I put 2023 it in writing in the titles and write up too! Being human :)
