I explained to my children that songs like these were played on Top 10 radio every day in the 70’s. They said, wow, it’s better than what we have today !

This is such a great song, but I don't think anyone has covered it and it never seems to get much love. Still on of my favorites and has been since the 70s.

Very nostalgic. I remember my mom and dad playing this song on 8 track in the car in the early '70s. I still feel the closeness we had back then. Miss you mom.

My Grandmother used to sometimes play her records loud on weekends. The neighbours all got to enjoy it as well. This song so vividly reminds me of her. Sitting in her chair, tapping her hands on the armrest, and tapping her feet. It made her happy. She's been gone 17 years now, and hearing it still upsets me because I miss her and my Grandfather.
