I feel sorry for people that won’t listen to music like this … they just do not know what they are missing… I can listen to this again and again and love every note, every beat, every harmony of it. RIP David, there will never be anyone again like you sir

This fantastic performance shows that Nick is not only a gifted drummer but also a gifted musician. To me he is a wonderful inspiration.
@charlenetaylor55482 жыл бұрын
I've had the pleasure of seeing Nick play live a dozen times, from completely solo acoustic, to with one guitarist, to drumming and singing with the Mike Keneally Band, and a number of times with Spock's Beard. His musical talent is intimidating, but he is one of the nicest guys to meet. He started calling my friends and I his groupies when he released his first solo album, and we caught 3 of those tiny shows. I have never seen anyone sit on a stool with pedals on a bass drum and high hat, a bass is his lap, a keyboard to his right, and a mic in front of him, and manage to play all of them. I almost fell off of my chair.

Never tire of this song it really lifts me up such a perfectly matched set of wonderful clever musicians who know what they are doing and an equally loving audience who were at one with the band. Splendid version, everybody had rehearsed like mad to achieve this, I'm sure. This is accessible music which is complex to play, yet. That's great they brought the small brass band on stage... a special feature in BBT's music, that I really like since it first appeared, while usually I'm not into brass music. It makes a differenc,e and quite often, there's a melancholy feel to what they play.

Everyone knocked it out of the park here -- loved it -- but man, have I missed hearing D'Virgilio in this kind of featured vocal role. He's as much a vocal asset as he is a valuable drummer, in my opinion. And he's a damn fine drummer. Grand Tour was my favorite album of 2019. I'm hoping for many more great tunes out of these guys.

Fantastic picture on this. Was sorta let down by the very visible grain and noisy image in Reflections of Light - this looks far cleaner and far more professional.
