We have this mindset that American support and sympathy means they will support your bid for presidency. Bobby wine should have been networking first in Africa before running to white folks in America and EU. He need to be networking with the likes of Julius Malema in South Africa, meeting with leaders in Sudan , Kenya , Zanzibar, Tanzania. It doesn't have to be a meeting with presidents of these countries, you could meet with the opposition MPs, meeting local upcoming political activist and opposition leaders, form strategy and planning. Ask questions, share knowledge. Instead we see opposition always in international media but nothing changes on the ground

@@mukisaedward7378 west government may support the current regime but it's regional networking that matter, even the current government to come into power first built relationships through networking, they even got money from Gaddafi, Mubutu, Tanzania. Western governments don't control public opinion, they can have influence on policy but that's it. Bobby Wine needs to build support in his neighbourhood first before running on American TV. The west are likely to support your bid for leadership if you're popular in your neighbourhood. It's your neighborhood , regional leaders that vouch for you to your masters in the west, they give you a reference.

I think the UK I have known people from Ethiopia issued with travel document, it's not a passport but looks like a passport and at the bottom it says travel document. You can access these at most European embassies. Sometimes these documents are sometimes also issued to people who have lost their British passport and cannot wait for a new passport to be issued in 10 days due to unforeseen circumstances. So it's likely that the Germans embassy issued him a travel document of some sort because his passport had been confiscated by the authorities whom he accuses of torture
