I've never set foot on a boat in my life, but I now I know how to check it out and then what to do before I start her up. 😁

You were right Amanda. Right up my alley. Just a bit of a workout every time you head out. I’d never even thought of cigarettes being a problem, but you certainly wouldn’t want that running through your system. I’d almost be tempted to set cameras up on the water strainers for that pre check.

Great video. Having seen reminders at the helm on several boats, I think checking your seacocks are open is something to be certain of, also.

Fantastic vid again, thanks! It seems that you know my questions before I've even asked them, and then you add a little bit more knowledge 🤔. Never knew there was a gauge that showed the rudder position. It's like being back at school, except that I'm actually interested in the subject 👍😂😂. Please keep the vids coming in droves, I've missed you over winter xx

New to channel and good job! If possible could you please try to show more of a close up of things like fuse panel etc? It’s great for us newbies to see what all exactly you have on and off pre departure and when you return? Just a humble suggestion! Thank you!

I see many yachts have a dinghy garage and some even have pumps to fill the air on the tube, but i have always been curious on how to fuel the dinghy, can you fuel it from the yacht main tank, or you have to take it out of the garage and to the fue dock separate from your main boat? Ps: great videos, keep it up👌👌👌
@lusoyachting363 жыл бұрын
Luis we usually just open the garage while we are at the fuel dock and fuel it there although the new Yamaha sport tender I bought last year has a removable 25 litre fuel tank so you could just take it to the gas station in the car.

May I ask, why dont you have the battery chargers on from the control panel. Is it just because they were full?
@lusoyachting363 жыл бұрын
Yes, the emergency systems like bilge pumps are on standby so it is not drawing any current. I'm not a fan of constantly cooking off he batteries with the charger 24/7.
