gday, how many bikes have you done in the past? might be worth making a video to show off any other projects. As someone who undertakes in similar projects its incredibly satisfying to watch you work. people take for granted the work involved in doing a restoration correctly and its great to see someone truly pay attention to detail. Bravo!

Thanks for the comment! I've done a few to this standard now. Never covered the process with a video series though. Next one is in planning already and will have its own series of videos. Cheers!

Hey thanks for the kind words! I'm down in Victoria. It's just a hobby - don't do paid work on other bikes. I like that era of YZ's!

G9Garage Oh cool, still working through the series, so looking fwd to seeing the rest, funny how addictive this is, I am now more focused on older bikes than new ones haha. 2t forever. Do you know of the Boyesen built RM250, Eyvind Boyesen built for a Bob Hannah’s 1986 winning Unadilla.

Where did you order your rebuild kit from I have a 1990 rm250
@G9Garage6 жыл бұрын
Hi Blake, I just ordered a bunch of OEM parts as per the parts manual - not a 'kit' as such. Most of it came from Partzilla.

You should have hydro blasted the cyl6head as well doesn't look right being a different tone to the new looking other parts
