Ummm, thats a 3406. C13 wasnt around till 2002 2003 which was called a bridge motor between the c12 and a motor CAT was trying to get to pass emissions. Maybe get ur info correct. Didnt watch 2 min of ur video

Im not a diesel expert either but I own a truck with a c13 and I sometimes watch KZbin videos to help me work on it. Anyway, if you really quit being a tech that was smart. Unless you own the business yourself i wouldn't wrench on trucks for a living. Cheers!

Great video. Where are you located? Do you work on C13 Cats in RVs? I have one (2006) that has extremely low mileage (18,000miles) but needs to be checked out to see if it is roadworthy. Is is a better value to have a truck shop work on your Cat diesel than an RV dealer or shop? I hear they charge more because many RV folks are old and retired and targets for ripoffs.

this helped me some as I know nothing about diesel engines but want to become a tech and have been looking at 2 old engines in an old junk yard wondering about them if I could I'd try to get one but would have no where for it and not sure if it would be a good idea

Aside from the sticker saying 3406, the intake flange, the cylinder heads, valve covers, oil cooler, front gear case, and oh ya....25 years of cdl experience , not much.....
